| So we've decided to start a sort of online magazine. I'm going to use the coding skills I learn in my computer class over the next few weeks to try to get things running. It may take awhile to get it all ready, but once it is we'll be sure to let you know. If you have any suggestions about anything for the magazine, let us know! We need some input for sure! BTW, I'm changing the site of the week... it's long overdue for a change. Check it out.

| Ok not much has really happened since our last update so I'll just break it down so I don't go off on random tangents like I'm doing now :)
*Amanda found a guapo named Cody
*Amanda made me two pairs of earrings for my birthday! (thank ya Tweedledee!)
*Cinderella....goodtimes
*We attempted a catagory 3 tree (was it 2 or 3?) and Amanda conquered it but I wasn't in the proper shoes once again...silly me
*Amanda is Snow White and I'm Ariel according to her Disney Princess Quiz
*We both agreed that Kirsten Dunst's fake southern accent in Elizabethtown is flippin lame!
*Amanda finally saw Now and Then..now I have to see Tommy Boy
*OH! and we went to go buy my retro bike but the stupid guy was tryin to jip me outa 50 "ducks" because the bike they had in stock was two inches too short...so basically the hunt for bikes is still on
Peace, Love, and Muchos Guapos! ;)

Flippin Cow! That was a loooooong entry Shaleen! What were you thinking? Someone would read that? LoL. If they did, they must really care about us. I guess it works better if there's pictures involved, so tomorrow we need to take a camera. Oh and I've changed my mind, both trees were category 2. Cat.1 is has to be super simple, so simple that a 5 yr old could do it, and those were definitely not that easy. Do you still have Rocky? I forgot what we did with it... Anyway, if anyone has a good, challenging tree to climb let us know! BTW I think my tree climbing secret is doing it barefoot... more connected, more "one" with the tree. LoL P.S. Thanks for the CDs Shaleen!

| Ok so we had our first documented adventure today! We have been taking frequent walks on the Sugar Pine Trail and we always make a stop at this quaint little playground. There are these trees that are right next to the playground that we have been attempting to "conquer" for the past 2 weeks or so and last time Amanda managed to climb one. I was not in the proper attire (aka-my shoes were not workin with the bark of the tree!) So I failed on my first attempt. So today we both tried again and we both made it up. Amanda uses a rather stategic technique that requires coordination whereas I use the "Jungle Jane" technique of wrapping my legs around a branch and swinging myself up with great difficulty and very little grace :) Fitting isn't it? Ok here's the clencher....not only did we conquer one tree...we conquered...THATS RIGHT...two trees today! We felt so cool sittin up in the trees. We couldn't climb more because we both wanted to be home on time to watch Gilmore Girls, but we took a minute to "size up" the neighboring trees according to difficulty. So I, being the painfully dorky gal I am, came up with a rubric for our tree climbing adventures which is closely tied to the recent hurricane disasters. We now assign numbers to trees according to difficulty ranging on a scale of categories from 1 to 5....1 being the least difficult and 5 being the most difficult. So we decided the first tree we conquered was a Category 1 and the second was a Category 2 (it was impossible to climb down from!) OH! And we also have this ritualistic habit of kicking a rock the whole time during our walks and each time we name it "Rocky" (oh yeah! we are so original) So today our Rocky had these cool markings on it that looked kinda like an arrow or half of a smiley face..it looked like this --) I was gonna take a picture of it but its like 11 and its too late to get it out of my car. Oops! We promise that we will have pics soon! All in all it was a good day of tree conquering! Peace, love, and happy climbing....
